Carmen only does this when she thinks no one’s looking. But the book is looking, Carmen. Knowledge is ever present. And it’s telling you that’s gross.

She can lick her finger and touch the pages of MY book anytime! She’d still get stabbed of course, but the prick she’d receive would be much more enjoyable. (Of course, it might hurt a lot more later, about nine months down the line, but that’s a concern for FUTURE Carmen.)
