Poor Carmen, still trying to come to terms with being a web-comic character, and all that it may entail.
“I am an all-powerful genie! I will grant EACH OF YOU a wish.”
Carmen: “I’d like a cup of coffee.”
Genie: “GRANTED!” (Coffee appears. Carmen sips contentedly.)
Joey: “I wanna be SUPERMAN!”
Genie: “GRANTED!” (Joey becomes Superman and flies away to do awesome stuff and try to avoid Kryptonite.)
Carmen: Sips coffee. “Shit.”
Genie: “Sorry, no takesie-backsies. Now, where’s Katherine…”
Carmen: (Thinks quickly about every thing Katherine has ever said and done.) “She doesn’t exist. Thank you for your wish granting. Have a nice life.”
Carmen’s second wish will soon be granted, just keep drinking coffee.
P.S. Kevin wasn’t granted a wish because his wish was granted first, and his wish was not to have ever existed, which created a bit of a paradox… and who IS this Kevin person anyway? Why am I typing this?

Carmen’s better off. If you have friends who think that you’re cool, every time you’re around them and aren’t being cool, you’re disappointing them. EVERY TIME.
It’s better to have friends who think you’re a nerd, and occasionally impress them with bursts of coolness.
