That’s so true that it smarts a little bit. This is very much most of the stores near me mobilizing to capitalize on the Christmas holidays, instead of letting Thanksgiving have its turn.
Personally, I feel it woulda been more accurate to have xmas interrupting Halloween’s closing statements, with an already beaten to a pulp thanksgiving behind him. Christmas has definitely not been patiently waiting for Halloween to finish… at least around here.
The Turkeys were not able to keep back the Reindeer.

I used to feel bad for Thanksgiving. But the longer I lived, the more and more I learned about that time and what happened. So, while annoying, I don’t mind pumpkin spice going straight into frosty. I got my headphones and earplugs, do your worst Mariah.
