I never owned a pair. Most every job I’ve ever worked has required steel toes and sole-plates (which are basically really long and wide (anti-)shank plates).
They must be a damn good shoe though. Know a dude who skated in nothing but them (Chuck Taylors?). And a gal who would rather go BAREFOOT than wear anything that isn’t Converse.
