Halloween and Christmas are like toothpaste and orange juice, it doesn’t mix. Unless you’re a beloved stop motion film from 1993. Christmas and New Years, however, are like Alien and Aliens. More than fine when standalone, but when combined, I’m losing the analogy as I type this.

I’m a little surprised Katherine doesn’t immediately convert to the Orthodoxy on the 26th so she can have a second Christmas on January 7th.
Tradition demands Christmas tree to only be put down after January 6th, the Day of the Mage-Kings (the fellas who brought gifts to the newborn Jesus).
